ARC GUIDE LEVEL 3
Ideal for those well acquainted with our thought process at Ammi Ruhama Community.
In our advocacy for the lost and broken we do not argue about the validity of their lost state nor do we champion the things they are doing to be seen as natural and right. We ask only that they be given the same full quarter that we were given in our active rebellion against God instead of the distinctly unbiblical practice of treating the unsaved as outlaws and therefore undeserving of the mercy, grace and love of the so-called people of God who have received mercy.
In a world that deifies those who are like them, and demonises those who are not, we must be those who have received the mercy of the Father via Jesus; our pro bono defence attorney. Our love for Him because of our gratitude for His mercy moves us to advocate for the lost and broken. We ourselves do not present them to the Father for mercy but to the Son though whom we have all had to go to the Father. It is in this way that the supernatural union of disparate, so-called unnatural pairings and groupings declares to the world that Jesus was sent from the Father. Our merciful behaviour due to the mercy shown to us shines a light on the mercilessness of the world’s system and, in the same way, any mercilessness on our part is met with the far more merciless judgement of the world. And so it is written:
13because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
James 2:13 New International Version
